Rovers & the January VHF Sweepstakes

Our special guest for the evening is the Chairman of the Rochester VHF Group and a long time rover.  Bill Rogers, K2TER, will explain the concept of roving and what it means to the January VHF Sweepstakes (January 17-19, 2009).  He will also share his thoughts on rover system design and operation strategy; what it takes to place in the top 5 nationally.  These are the hams that fill their SUV or van with radio equipment and then try to camouflage it with antennas.
