Advanced Ticket Sales:

Purchase your tickets and reserve your spaces in advance via PayPal. Present your PayPal receipt and a photo ID at the "Will Call" window in the Main Lobby  (Labeled "GOR" in grid 5-G on the campus map).  Click Here for Advanced Ticket Sales

General Admission Parking:

Attendees will find free General Parking in lots E and F (Grid 4-E on the campus map). Handicap parking with free shuttle service is available from lots G and H to the Visitors Information Center (Labeled "WEL" in grid 5-F on the campus map).

The tailgating area is Lot D (Grid 4-F on the campus map) and all indoor activities (Vendors, exhibitors, flea market, restrooms and food) are in the Gordon field house (Labeled "GOR" in grid 5-G on the campus map).

General Admission fee: $5.00 in advance, $8.00 at the door.
RaRa members: Free

Tailgating:

  • Vehicles can enter the tailgating area, parking Lot D (Grid 4-F on the campus map) via the Visitors Information Center (Labeled "WEL" in grid 5-F on the campus map).
  • Spaces are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
  • Each parking permit is good for one space. If you require more than one space, you can purchase additional parking permits.
  • Notes:
    • This lot will be in use by the college on Friday. Friday arrivals can park, but Campus Safety Officers will not allow you to setup tables or tents.
    • At no time can tent stakes be used on the pavement.
    • Cooking and alcohol is prohibited on campus. Campus Safety will be policing the event.

Tailgating fee: $5.00 at the gate only.
RaRa members: Free
(Additional spaces are available for $5.00 ea.)

Indoor Flea Market setup:

  • Indoor flea market spaces are available in the Gordon field house (Labeled "GOR" in grid 5-G on the campus map).
  • Vehicles can access the loading / unloading bays via the Visitors Information Center (Labeled "WEL" in grid 5-F on the campus map) and following the designated route along "A. Leo Fox lane" to the east end of the field house.
  • You can unload your wares onto an empty pallet which will be moved to your space by one of our stewards. Steward services will be provided by the Boy Scouts - please consider tipping the boys - all tips go to the scout troop.
  • Once unloaded, you will need to promptly move your vehicle to the reserved parking Lot U (Grid 7-F on the campus map) via "A. Leo Fox lane" and "Adele D. Clark Drive". (Note: Neither RIT or RaRa is responsible for un attended merchandise - so plan accordingly.)
  • After you empty the pallet, one of our stewards will pick it up.
  • Setup begins at 7am and all pallets must be off the exhibit floor by 8:45am. - Doors open for general admission at 9am.
  • Pallets and stewards will be available for tear-down after 2pm.

Indoor flea market spaces will be assigned at your time of arrival on the morning of the event. Indoor spaces with rented tables will be located closest to the commercial vendors in the higher traffic areas.

Indoor Flea Market fee: $5.00 in advance, $8.00 at the door (without tables).
RaRa members: Free

Campers:

Overnight campers may stay in parking Lot N (Grid 3&4-F on the campus map). There are no facilities available, and campus buildings will not be open for restroom use until Saturday morning. All cooking must take place within your camper or motor home.

Hotels / Lodging:

There are many hotels of varying price ranges in the immediate area. The Radisson is on campus and within walking distance to the Hamfest. For your convenience here is a link to Google Maps depicting area hotels, and a direct link to the Radisson hotel - mention the "Hamfest & Tech Expo" and receive a discount on your stay.

Talk-In Frequencies:

Talk-in is available on 146.61 (pl 110.9)
On -site information is available on 147.050 (pl 110.9)

Food:

The food concessions will be located outside the main entrance to the Arena serving breakfast and lunch.

Last Chance Auction:

Don't miss our "Last Chance Auction" in the indoor flea market. From 2 until 4pm we'll auction off your unsold wares. Auction items are subject to the approval of our Auctioneers. RaRa will collect a 10% Sellers premium for items sold. The Auction will end promptly at 4pm.
